Derive is a work that puts in dialogue two different realities, the salt marshes of Santa Gilla and the Saras refinery, near Cagliari in Sardinia. The series is composed by of two square photographs of the factory at night and the panoramic stretches of salt marshes at twilight before sunrise. Derive is about waiting for the right moment, waiting for all the elements to come together and composed an image.
