Annalisa Sonzogni

Annalisa Sonzogni works across photography, moving image and installation. Her practice engages with architecture and the representation of space. She creates immersive site-specific photographic installations which draw on contemporary architectural debates into the relationships between image and space. Her work has been published in C20 magazine, Afterimage and Camera Austria. She received her doctorate from Kingston School of Art, where she is currently a Lecturer, and she is a Tutor at the University for the Creative Arts in Epsom.

Solo exhibitions include Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City; Casa del Fascio in Como, Italy; Pescheria Visual Arts Centre, Pesaro, Italy and the former Lilian Baylis School in London.

Group exhibitions include Stills Scotland's Centre for Photography, Edinburgh; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Guarene d'Alba, Italy; Museum Folkwang, Essen, Germany and Le Botanique, Brussels, Belgium.
